De’Longhi’s La Specialista Maestro is an Aussie-First Espresso Machine

Italian coffee maker De’Longhi had Australia in mind when they created the La Specialista Maestro. “We are very proud of this machine because it has been designed with the Australian consumer in mind,” says Paolo Albertoni, the CEO of De’Longhi Australia and New Zealand. “We are the first market in the world to launch La Specialista Maestro, which is the evolution of our hero manual machine, La Specialista. From the grinding, dosing, brewing and texturing, consumers have creative freedom as to how they make their coffee, whilst benefiting from cutting edge De’Longhi technology for precision and best extraction of flavour.”

The whole idea behind the La Specialista Maestro is to give consumers the ability to truly maser and personalize how they prepare their coffee and milk. “As we know, delivering a great coffee depends on so many variables,” says Albertoni. “It depends on the coffee beans, the coarseness of the grind, the quantity of the coffee, the tamping, the pre-infusion, and the water temperature—even the consistency of the water temperature.

La Specialista Maestro, as in a symphony, maximizes each of the stages of the coffee preparation to transform the coffee experience. The machine embraces the artistic craft and the science involved in producing every cup through its settings and allows users to choose their level of automation and interaction with the machine.” The Specialista assists you through each stage of preparing your perfect cup of coffee with manual controls that simplify each of those stages. But it’s not just a manual affair. The machine also includes impressive technology with its Sensor Grinding Technology, Active Temperature Control, Dynamic Pre-Infusion and Smart Tamping Station. You can even use one of the six Automatic One Touch Recipes.

All those advances have come as the De’Longhi team have listened to Australians. “De’Longhi takes the feedback seriously,” says De’Longhi Australia’s Product Trainer Cheryl Bosworth of the suggestions they’ve received from consumers. “Especially from Australians, who are so passionate about coffee. The Global R&D team have listened and put these innovations into the La Specialista Maestro machine as well as into the coffee guide and settings table. This enables consumers to create an at-home barista style, quality coffee each and every time.”
