The ‘Gangs of London’ Season 2 Behind the Scenes Trailer

The pieces on the chessboard may have been rearranged, but the second season of Gangs of London looks poised to produce another epic tale of underworld mayhem. As an early appetiser, streaming platform Stan just released first-look images and a behind-the-scenes teaser of the highly anticipated return of the acclaimed UK criminal series.

The ‘Gangs of London’ Season 2 Full Trailer Unleashed

The trailer gives fans a unique glimpse into the world of season two, showcasing different scenes from the perspective of the director. If you’re wondering whether creator Gareth Evans will be able to match the thrilling violence of the first season, the teaser’s highlight reel of explosions and weaponised fight scenes will quench your thirst for blood.

The official release statement gives a clear preview of the upcoming episodes: “Set one year after the tumultuous events of season one, the second season charts London’s map and soul being redrawn. Since the collapse of the Wallace Dumani empire, the order is lacking and the energy and chaos of a gold rush threaten the city with gangland anarchy. As The Investors step in, a new gang leader is tasked with restoring the status quo.”

Alongside Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù, season two will see the return of Paapa Essiedu, Lucian Msamati, Michelle Fairley, Orli Shuka, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Brian Vernel, Narges Rashidi, Asif Raza and Valene Kane.

New members to the cast include Waleed Zuaiter (Baghdad Central, The Spy) as Koba, French rapper Jasmine Armando in her first TV role as Saba, Fady El-Sayed (Baghdad Central, A Private War) as Faz, Salem Kali (Un Prophete, Dealer) as Basem and Aymen Hamdouchi (SAS: Red Notice, Criminal: UK) as Hakim.

Gangs of London Season 2 will premiere in late 2022, the same day as the U.K. and only on Stan.
